Significant and Historic Preservation

Projects listed presented unusual challenges in adapting telecommunications, security, and Information Communications & Technologies (ICT) to novel existing site design requirements or unique historic site conditions. Our works with innovative designs and challenging construction approaches have always required us to also fulfill the related goals of the twin project demands of cost and schedule.  What separates these specialty projects from others are:

• The increased need for more experienced people to focus on cross discipline planning to synergize solutions with design team peers

• Dealing with additional layers of complexity

• The need to arrive at non-standard site specific solutions

• The need for overall integration into the construction and renovation processes with related increased coordination with other site efforts. 

• Each project had a wide array of difficult design requirements that had to be addressed compatibly with goals of preservation of the original design, ranging from high-rise to seismic design considerations

•  Implementing owner desired design attributes like cutting edge technology and scalable growth capabilities in sites requiring enhanced security
